My fees for counselling are $135 for each 50-minute individual session, and $190 for each 90-minute family session. If you have health benefits, these fees may be covered — please check with your benefits provider. I am also NIHB approved so I can do direct billing for Status Indigenous people.
It is important to me that you get the mental health support you need. If cost is a barrier in your decision to access counselling, please contact me and we can discuss a sliding scale.
Absolutely! I offer a free 15-minute introductory conversation over the phone to potential clients. On this call we will discuss your goals for counselling to ensure we are a good fit — and you can ask any questions you have before you book your first appointment.

Counselling is a conversation.
At your first session, we will start where you are at. I will ask you some questions and listen to your answers. Each session is guided by you, and we will focus on developing practical strategies that address your most pressing challenges. I use a strength-based solution-focused approach that will help you identify your strengths to handle the challenges before you with self-compassion.
Yes. I welcome clients of all sexualities and gender identities at Healthy Transitions Counselling. I will ensure a safe environment for you to get the mental health support you need.
I am a mom to two adopted boys who have a different skin colour than I do, and as a white settler living on Treaty 4 Territory and in the Homeland of the Métis, I have done a lot of personal work over the past seven years to ensure I am racially and culturally competent. I continue to live this work every day, and am committed to supporting BIPOC clients in our community.
Yes! I can make house calls in the Regina area for clients with disabilities or mobility challenges. Since I specialize in working with seniors, I don't want mobility challenges to be a barrier in getting the support you need.
Yes. I offer in-person counselling in Regina and once a week at George Gordon First Nation. I also provide counselling services virtually or over the phone so clients can 'meet me' from anywhere.
In some cases, I am willing to travel to meet clients, although I charge an extra fee for sessions outside of Regina to cover travel costs.
If you live outside the Regina area and want to explore counselling support, please contact me and we can discuss options.
